Cotton covered wire is often used in millinery to construct hat brims. It is also widely used to create other head-dress shapes and frames for theatre and other craft forms.

This wire has a copper core and is extremely soft and pliable.

Please keep in mind that the gauge only refers to wire thickness and does not include the thickness of the cotton layer wrapped around the wire.
