Returns & Exchanges

We hope you will be pleased with your purchase from House of Adorn, but should you wish to return your items we are happy to provide an exchange or refund, subject to the return policy below. 

Hassle-free returns


Step 1: Contact
If you change your mind or are unhappy for any reason, simply contact us within 7 days of recieving your purchase to arrange a return.


Step 2: Return 
After contacting us, return your item (plus proof of purchase) within 14 days - either via post, or by dropping in to our Bayswater Store.


Step 3: Exchange or Refund 
Once we have recieved your item and have confirmed it is unused and in good condition, we will process your refund or exchange.

The fine-print

Please contact us via phone or email (or visit us in-store) within 7 days of receiving your purchase to arrange a return. Items (plus proof of purchase) must be returned to us at our store (or proof of return postage must be received) within 14 days of you receiving your order. We reserve the right to refuse returns (or offer only store credit) outside of these timeframes. A refund or exchange will be processed upon our receipt of the goods. Goods must not be used or damaged, in their original packaging, and in fully-resalable condition. If the goods have not been returned to us in fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund on the goods.


Please note we are unable to offer an exchange/refund on any specially ordered or customised products. In addition, we are unable to offer an exchange/refund on fabrics/trims that have been cut to size. Refunds are for the cost of goods only. We cannot refund shipping fees or any import/customs duties/fees you may have paid.

Fees & Charges

If goods are returned due to change of mind or incorrect purchase and wish to exchange for other items, additional postage costs will be charged to resend the new goods back to you. For change of mind or incorrect purchase returns we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee which may be waived at our discretion.

Faulty or Incorrect Goods

If a product is returned because of an error made by us, or because a product is damaged or defective, we may require the product to be returned before we process a refund or replacement. In these circumstances, we will either provide a pre-paid return shipping label or refund you the cost of returning the products to us. Once we have confirmed they are incorrect or defective, we will replace and re-send the products at no extra cost to you, or provide a full refund to the original form of payment. Please note than natural imperfections in goods such as leather, feathers or staws are not considered faulty. Similarly, we cannot refund products as faulty where they have been identified as such on our website.

None of the above limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
