Powertex - Rusty Powder
Create that perfect rust look with Powertex Rusty Powder. Mix the powder with Powertex or Easy Structure and spread it with a pallet knife or brush. Spray a mix of 50% water and vinegar on the wet surface and repeat as necessary. Note that too much vinegar may result in a very dark colour and lose the beautiful orange and red rust effects. Allow to dry for at least 24 hours to imitate a natural rust effect. You can also try mixing Powertex with 3DSand, Rusty Powder and a dash of vinegar, this results to a coarser paste and a rough rust effect.
