Learn & Discover

HOA Learn & Discover Millinery

At House of Adorn, we are passionate about Millinery and here is where we will be sharing all things Millinery with you.

If you are already making hats, we hope these resources will help expand your knowledge and skills, and if you are just starting out, then you have come to the perfect place to learn and get inspired.

Millinery Workshops

Workshops are a great way to learn new skills and techniques, work with new materials, meet new creative people, and share tips and information. We are affiliated with Hat Week Australia; an annual event during which we invite local, national and international Tutors, who are all highly skilled and respected in their fields, to teach and share their knowledge with you. Find out more about Hat Week Australia & sign up to their mailing list so you can be the first to learn about Millinery workshops HERE.

Online Tutorials

Online tutorials are a fantastic way to learn, especially if you are unable to make it to workshops or want to learn in your own time (not to mention in the comfort of your own home!). We have teamed up with industry leader, Hat Academy, to bring you an ever expanding suite of online Millinery tutorials for beginners through to advanced students. Click HERE for more information.

Inspirational Milliners

House of Adorn is pleased to share with you our first "Inspirational Milliner" Designer Profile video. Meet the lovely Rebecca Share, one of Australia's leading Milliner and Hat Maker, who is best known for her signature percher style hats. Watch Rebecca in her home studio and hear about how her career started and what she has learnt on the way. Click HERE to view the video.
