Perfect for swimwear this lycra is UV & chlorine resistant. Xtra Life LYCRA® Fiber resists fabric breakdown more than 5 times longer than your average chlorine-resistant spandex. Fiber breakage can cause fabric breakdown very quickly. Swimwear garments using Xtra Life LYCRA® Fiber have no significant fiber breakage even after 240 hours of exposure. Spandex Nylon Lycra is commonly used in dance, calisthenics and gymnastics costumes as well as swimsuits and undergarments due to its elasticity and lightweight composition. A 4-way stretch (Also known as 2-way stretch in some countries) indicates the ability to stretch both horizontally and vertically. Breathable and comfortable, this material comes in a wide range of vibrant colours and has been woven with a shiny finish. This style has a weight of 190gm and features a composition of 20% Xtra Life Lycra and 80% Nylon. This product is priced per 1m and will be provided in continuous lengths where possible. IMPORTANT NOTE: This material should only be washed by hand in cold water and dried using air without excessive sun exposure.
