Cotton covered wire is often used in millinery to construct hat brims. It is also widely used to create other head-dress shapes and frames for theatre and other craft forms.
This wire features a copper-plated steel core wire and is wrapped with 2 layers of cotton running the length of the wire and coiled around.
Please keep in mind that the gauge only refers to wire thickness and does not include the thickness of the cotton layer wrapped around the wire. Refer to the measurements for total width values. Price per specified length.
